Lookin' for Tracks

Colby and I decided to do some snowshoeing afterschool. We set out into the field and instantly he spotted tracks... coyote tracks! He and BJ have been calling and hunting them, so it was exciting to see tracks near their hunting grounds.

I was amused as Colby led me through the woods, identifying animal tracks and commenting on their patterns. He truly has listened when BJ takes him hunting.

We snowshoed about a 1/2 mile through the woods and fields and back to the house. I was exhausted - Colby was just getting started. Where he finds the energy, I'm not sure - but I want some! It was hard work keeping up with him.
