As I said, there were four dramatic strands happening together!

#1 daughter had been in and out of hospital twice in 2 days, with baby deciding whether or when to come

#2 daughter, trying to see baby before returning to work in Italy, was pursuing alternatives to delay her departure, ended up travelling from Oxenholme to Reggio di Calabria by train!

My mother was falling - three times in 36 hours, GP, social services, physios...

Uncle was admitted as emergency to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.

All simultaneously.

Anyway, meet Isaac James - who was born yesterday, 7lbs 14 ozs. His arrival was dramatic - including a transfer between hospitals on blue lights and siren, after a protracted and gruelling time. Mum and Dad are exhausted. #'s 2 and 3 daughters got to see the baby. Z is truly beautiful.
