Farewell Barbara

My oldest friend’s mum passed away recently. Today was the funeral. Barbara spent almost all her life in Lambeth, South London. She only moved outside London in her later years to accommodate the health of her late husband Jim. The tune to which we left the crematorium was ‘Doing the Lambeth Walk’. It brought a smile to sad faces. The wake lasted all afternoon and evening. We were well served in saying our farewells.
