The house in the forest
The Prince stopped his horse as the turrets came into view. Depending on which of the two crones who had offered him unsolicited advice he believed, this was either a small castle containing an imprisoned Princess who could only be freed by a true Prince, or the large house of an Enchantress who ensnared men by assuming the form of a beautiful, young woman.
On balance, he was hoping for the Enchantress. There was a lot to be said for taking things at face value. And, if the Enchantress was not really a beautiful, young woman, well - he was not really a Prince.
