A day of Firsts

This is a diptych from a day of firsts- the first day at secondary school for Ralph and the first day of married life for David and Lucy.

Ralph is trying to mask his apprehension at going to a new school with a tentative wink and thumbs up. His mum has wisely bought a uniform that will accommodate a growth spurt.
Meanwhile David and Luca look in command of the situation as they pose for me after I have recovered from the shock of their secret marriage and realised that I don’t have to worry about choosing a wedding outfit or a hat. What’s not to like about that?
