Back to school

My first day  back at school . All the new Year 7 students arrived today and spent much of the day wandering around the site searching for the different rooms which they will be using and to get familiar with the various buildings.

For the staff there were various meetings, and also "fire training", making sure we were familiar with the  fire precautions and protection, and what to do in the event of a fire.  This included the opportunity to let off a fire extinguisher from a choice of water, CO2 or foam: the natural choice was foam as this is the more entertaining to watch.

Most of the other students return tomorrow, with the sixth form coming in on Thursday.
