Morges to Magnant about 207 miles plus diversions

The day dawned beautifully over the lake and we made an early start getting breakfast enroute. After a couple of diversions (of our making) we arrived at our hotel about 4.30pm.

Things went rapidly downhill at this point...one of the three of us was checked in and assigned a room the rest of us didn’t!! Our booking was down for Friday night, the other for Thursday and they were fully booked. Our booking had been totally mucked up by the hotel the other may have been the fault of Hotel.com who handled the situation very well but we finally secured rooms a few miles away and have just had the best meal of the trip. So all’s well that ends well!

We split from the guys tomorrow and head for Sedan where I’ll be visiting the grave of my great Uncle who died during WW1.
