Abandoned

It was a wet and windy night for this anticipated Women’s National League D1 North derby between Bradford City and Leeds United.

Leeds played with the wind, and made the most of it - taking a 2-0 lead. Then a big collision between a player from each side led to a lengthy stoppage and finally abandonment of the match as the effected players were taken to hospital in an ambulance. No news yet, but I hope they recover quickly.
