A beach to ourselves

We took two granddaughters to Caerlaverock Wetland Centre, South West Scotland and were surprised how long they spent watching swans, ducks and geese in the water.

Then we went to Sandyhills and found a beach all to ourselves. Not quite the weather for paddling or building sandcastles, but good for running about and playing at being mermaids!!

So there we have it - a beach to ourselves.
