More steam

I was in the office first thing this morning before heading out on some successful site visits. Rather than go back to the office, I arranged to finish early and drove over to the Worth Valley as this week is the last of the 2019 "weekday" steam timetables.

I was lucky to see the LMS 41241 loco (built 1948) approach Oakworth Station at the same time as the steam-powered Grafton Crane (built 1945) was working in the sidings.

I was home in time to see Boris address the nation from the West Yorkshire Police centre at Carr Gate. Inappropriate use of police resources for pseudo election campaigning. What a mess he made of it.
