What am I?

hairdressers visit today and then home to potter a bit before going out to celebrate some 70th birthdays.  It was a lovely afternoon and having met at 12 we left just after 3.  
We then chilled and watching tipping point, the chase, and eggheads.  We were not very hungry so a quick sandwich sufficed.
