Merv’s Girls! (he will understand)

I think there might be a few boys on the sidelines.  I went looking for a field of sunflowers this afternoon but I think I misunderstood the directions that Merv gave me. 

...  and a very low flying Emirates plane came over as I was photographing butterflies in the garden.  Admittedly this was taken with a 300mm lens on a cropped sensor, but I haven’t cropped the digital image at all.  I’m presuming it was heading for Manchester, which is not far away - perhaps 5 mins flying time.  In the summer we sometimes see them quite low.
