Hubert and Q

A bit of an emotional moment for me this evening. Hubert always used to sit like this with Kiki, she would lie flat and he would snuggle his chin onto her back, I always thought it was like he was watching over her. I wasn’t sure I’d see him do this with another bunny, it’s only been 10 months since we lost Kiki and she left such a huge hole behind, for all of us. I hadn’t seen him do this with any of the other buns until now, he’s been too unwell and spent a lot of time hiding. He has been cuddling up to Q a lot lately but I’m sure this is the first time they’ve done this. Q seems to enjoy it as much as Kiki did, and I was so happy to see them together, if a little sad at the same time. Hubert has had such a tough time of it lately, it’s just nice to see him feeling so much better, his cheeky wee personality is beginning to shine through again.
