Ahoy There, Mateys!

This blip shows part of a pirate ship tent we bought for our 3 year old grandson. He visited today for a 'pirate adventure day' - we made cardboard swords (and coloured them) then drew a map and put in the X to show where the "treasure" would be.

After lunch we took my very small fold up snow spade-shovel and went looking for the "treasure" in the garden, using the little map.

He dug with the spade-shovel and, would you believe it, we found "treasure" - a chocolate ornament off the Christmas tree (safely inside a little treasure box with his name on it!)

Exhausting but worth it! He is now in bed in his own house with lots of stories to tell tomorrow...and I am enjoying my own chocolate ornament off the Christmas tree!
