Burnam on Crouch
Sunny but windy day. I went with a friend on the ferry from Wallasea to Burnham this morning, only takes 10 minutes but lovely to get the views from the boat. We had a wander round the town, bought a couple of things, had the most wonderful fish and chips sitting in the sun. Then went to a cafe and sat chatting over a coffee.
The blip is of the clock and tower added to the school by public subscription in memory of Laban Sweeting 1877. There was also a plaque to Mr Sidney Harvey who was the clock winder for 44 years from 1939 until his retirement in June 1983.
The second extra was taken from the boat and I loved the shape of the windows.
Arrived home mid afternoon and went to the church for a couple of hours, needed to work the fish and chips off!
