After the storm

WE ARE WELL! We measured 16” rain, under 40 mph winds, and have power. The National Weather Service in Wilmington issued 37 tornado warnings (so far 11 verified tornados on the ground) and multiple flash flood warnings. The storm was a Cat 2, but did not make landfall, when it came close to us last night. We are assessing for possible damage. This is truly a modern day miracle.
N College Rd going into Castle Hayne is blocked off due to flooding. Haven’t been up the attic to do detailed check but not expecting anything. Kent will take the shutter boards down today.   Just need the yard to dry out now.
