Perfect Party

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It is Paddy’s 50th birthday today and he invited his 5 closest friends and their families out for dinners and drinks in The Black Ivy.

He lives in The Falklands so he doesn’t see his Mum or friends very often and he gave a speech about how special it was to spend his birthday with the people in the room. I really love that Paddy didn’t give a toss about having a big party. No one did anything outrageous. It wasn’t a riot. It was just perfect because people were spending a special day with their people.
