Plundering the Pink

Over in the playing field they're testing the sound system for the weekend's sporting fun. Can you 'ear me in the back? Mate, we can hear you in the next village.

Apparently someone called Ian Holloway will regale the punters tonight, while Frank Bruno will be taking the ring tomorrow. It's going to be loud, I suspect. Anyhow, the cabling snafu from Wednesday is sorted and I'm far happier if even more bruised now.

Taking a well earned rest now, while Janet takes her Aunty Laurie to a Cotswold garden. Over coffee in the garden, I've found the sedum abuzz with late summer bees. Here's one, best viewed large.
