Billy's back!

Billy Brompton has stepped into the breech to save the day. His younger stablemate, Electric Eric, has had to go to bike hospital after developing what I can only describe as a miss-fire. Some sort of connection issue between battery and motor I can only assume. 

So, with not a moment's hesitation Billy Brompton leapt up from his comfortable retirement to carry me the 20 or so miles today's trip out for a meeting required.

In related news the mechanic has been in touch to say that Electric Eric has been on the diagnostic and, after a software update with some error codes cleared, he's fighting fit again. It says something when the simplest and most elegant machine ever invented, the bike, is fixed with a software update....

Billy's still got it covered though, he laughs in the face of technology!
