Mobile Composting.
Re-using (aka re-purposing or upcycling) cracked water butts by converting them to porta-posters (the "post" bit pronounced as in "comPOST", and not as in the upright component of a fence). Local authority no longer accepts anything that has been in our kitchen into the green waste bin (do they know something about our kitchen that we don't?). To avoid grey-binning it or attracting rats to the large compost bins, we now have portable composters that sit in the kitchen garden. The holes allow worm access from below and vegetable rocket fuel out onto the garden. Very easy to turn the compost and move the porta-posters around. Residual 'gloop' can go onto the big compost bins.
