Vanilla Pods

Charlie brought loads of vanilla back from Madagascar so tonight we made four bottles of vanilla essence, which consisted of opening the pod, scraping out the vanilla inside and then adding both to a fair amount of vodka. We'll leave it for a few months, occasionally stirring, and see what happens...
