Matchstick cats and dogs

A pretty low key day.
Headed out after lunch to the Showcase Cinema in Birstall where we saw Mrs Lowry and Son.
Excellent central performances from Vanessa Redgrave and Timothy Spall. Let down a bit by its origins as a radio play.
Still pondering whether we should see Once upon a Time in Hollywood.
Anyway my attention was caught by the trunks of these silver birches on the way back to the car at the multiplex.
