Sunset.

This photo isn't nearly as good as the sky looked.

Another hot day, in the 30's.  Fires around the area haven't been as bad.  Although, I did have to shut the windows to the front of the house at one point.  Mostly, because of the smell of smoke.

Unfortunately, fires are bad out in the hinterland, and 3 homes have been lost already.  We could really do with some rain.

Meanwhile, we went back to Bunnings, to return some paint.  My husband has always been very particular about his painting.

As soon as he started to paint the surround of the front door he said, 'this paint is rubbish.'  He persisted.  But then he read some comments on the internet about it.  Everybody, else said it was rubbish too.

So we took it back.  They weren't happy but we got our money back.  And he wont be re-painting the door surround.
