Belves

Monpazier is one of our favoured bastide villages and we knew Thursday was market day so being a sucker for a French market off we went.

It was just as beautiful as ever, and we had a lovely meander through the market, the village and the permanent shops there.

Decided we’d have lunch in Belves, and on the way into the town Mr H obliged my desire to photograph this lovely view of the town and pulled over .

Very nice lunch , and then in an attempt to burn off some calories we spent a short while in the pool back at the campsite.

We then met a lovely young couple at the bar when we went for one before our meal, and ended up having several and a very late meal.

Another lovely relaxing, enjoyable, sunny, happy day.
