What a wonderful day!

Not a cloud in the sky when L and I arrived in George Square early this morning to watch the start of the Tour of Britain cycle race.

We found a good place to stand and watch as the warm up lap started ..... but even keeping behind the Race Director's car the cyclists were travelling at some speed.  After a lap of the city centre they were off en route to Kirkudbright.
