Lobelia

A close up of the rather nice lobelia in what is meant to be our goldfish pool.  

The pool hasn't any goldfish in it at the moment.  This is an ongoing saga - started back in September 2017, then a repeat episode in September 2018, after which we were persuaded that it probably is an otter visiting.  We lost our fish again about a month ago, and there has been much discussion on the local Facebook page about other people losing their fish to otters.  We haven't yet replaced the goldfish as we need to get the motion sensitive camera working on the patio, and also clean out the pool.  We'll probably leave it till next spring now, as it seems unkind to introduce new fish at a time when the weather is getting colder.
