Chester FC 3 Guiseley 1

Chester were comfortable 3-1 winners over Guiseley today. I thought the game would have been much harder but, taking nothing away from Chester, I thought Guiseley were very disappointing and were lucky to finish with 11 men on the pitch (sorry sgwarnog)

Chester are looking really good this season after a few disappointing years and it looks like they will be a genuine promotion threat. The blip shows Akwasi Asante celebrating his first goal after only 3 minutes. He has now scored 8 goals in 4 starts and 3 substitute appearances and is looking a terrific centre forward. Hopefully he can steer clear of injury which was a problem for him last season and at previous clubs. I hope he is a success because he is a lovely bloke.
