Skunked

In the middle of the morning the afternoon photoshoot I'd set up was cancelled.  Though in fact being utterly skunked on SillySaturday seemed somehow appropriate.  So I got on a train to Portsmouth and landed up blipping this crazy little dog. 

Portsmouth Harbour has a long cobbled slipway down the centre of the water between the Historic Dockyard and the railway station.  A lot of the time it's under water, but today when I was there the tide was out and this dog's owner was throwing a pink ball right along the cobbles, which was duly brought back each time with mouthfuls of seaweed.  It made me laugh, particularly this shot as the dog has all his feet off the ground, as though he's just lifted off on rocket boosters!
