New Season - let the fun begin.

First games were played throughout the Tennent’s National League Division 2 today. I’m sure it was a nice autumnal afternoon of sport at most venues. Falkirk RFC gave Stew Mel’s RFC a run for their money. Falkirk were winning at halftime, loosing ultimately 21-24. Falkirk had a try held up (correct decision), and missed a few kicks - small margins make all the difference.

Our younger son is still injured, so spent the afternoon filming the game, with some others not playing, from the little tower scaffold at the centre line. He’d a great view.

Afterwards we’d a walk along the canal and met a young man with a lovely collie dog, not unlike one I had in the 1970s.
