Sunset over Stirling Castle.

Much of the morning was taken with by catching up with some household chores. We set out later to the Carron reservoir with a picnic lunch and spotted but didn’t photograph one osprey. That would be a young one about to set off south for the winter.
After tea we drove down to South Alloa for the sunset. We got well and truly midge-nibbled but I think it was worth it.
