A Bug's Eye View

A leisurely morning around the villa and then a trip to Elche to see the Palm Gardens. Hildasrose was on a bit of a mission to fulfill the criteria for this month's Camera School brief so we were looking for diagonals in mono. I made a token gesture by shooting in mono with the knowledge that also shooting raw gives me colour if I need it. I probably needed colour for this blip of a micro insect found on a petal but it's too much effort to load raw files on to laptop. This insect chap kept relatively still so I managed most of him in focus.

Back at the villa we had some time in the pool - pools are for sitting beside in my opinion - but settled for a floating ring with Fanny as waitress with cool beer! See blip from Hildasrose.

Now on the balcony with a nightcap after an excellent meal in local restaurant: not a genuine Spanish person anywhere!!!
