Farewell to Stromness

Have  finally got to to grips with this haunting piece by Salford-born Peter Maxwell Davies written in protest at  uranium mining in Orkney. When I first heard it, I naively thought - that doesn't sound too difficult. I can do that. Not so fast - there are a lot of subtleties I missed, and I'm a slow learner with recalcitrant fingers, but I've kinda got there. All that remains is to play it through mistake free! The protest was successful, and I need to go to Stromness so I can at least say Farewell!
