Clock Shadows ...

… cast through our kitchen window by a car in the  condominium parking lot next door, at 15:13 this afternoon. The reflection came from the green car in that blip--a Honda Civic ca. 2002 identical to ours; doubtless from  two windows--my head is doubled.  The clock's hours are marked by European birds, as you can see in the extra (there's a European robin at 7 o'clock). The birds' songs play hourly when the clock operates properly (not for quite a while--perhaps this will spur me to try to fix it :)   Activities: shopping at Walmart, getting corn at our farmstand, and watching the U.S. Open women's final: Bianca Andreescu of Canada beat Serena Williams.
