First match of the season

And not a great start, unfortunately as Cully lost 5-2. Two of those were own goals too!

This year the boys have moved up to full size pitch and goals so I think it will be a lot harder for them this season. Apparently the U13 league is regularly the one with the most goals scored and I can see why looking at Leo in the massive goal! We need to hope for a sudden growth spurt and in the meantime he’ll have to get used to the balls flying past him!

At least it was a nice sunny time in Copplestone for the match and even better, was the fact that there was not a scrap of mud to be cleaned up afterwards :)

Oh, and you can just spot Lino Ian, doing his stuff on the touchline :)
