Carry that weight

This week, M has been very good at organising activities- possibly feeling a bit of pressure to make sure that his girlfriend, L, has a good holiday. Today’s outing was a ferry to St Mawes followed by a circular walk.

I had an early run before we all walked into town (it’s never quite clear what the shortest route is). I picked up the tickets while the rest of the gang(?) team(?) party(?) bought the ingredients for a picnic. Nice trip over to St Mawes. For some reason, the first activity was a jumble sale. Then lunch on the beach. Then the inevitable how-many-people-can-M-carry experiment. Then a lovely walk. The first part, on the sunny slopes looking over the Carrick Roads to Falmouth was especially good.

Boat trip home. All good.
