Sunset on our first hillwalk of 2013

I don't usually do winter hillwalking but as it has been uncharacteristically mild for January the last couple of days we decided to give it a go and a group of us climbed Carn Fhreiceadain, a corbett near Kingussie. "Mild" is of course a relative term ... the wind chill factor up top was significant! Also the magnificent views across to the Cairngorms were shrouded in cloud, which was a shame. However that apart it was a most enjoyable walk and as we headed back down the hill to the car I managed to get this blip of the setting sun.

Tonight my feet and legs know that they have hiked a good ten miles today!
