Poolside cacti

Last day in Fuerteventura so I took a few shots of the cacti around the pool before we left. ( back blipped as we are now home but didn’t get home till nearly 4 am ! )

I have always loved cacti ever since I grew them from seed as a schoolboy on my grannie’s window sill. It is always lovely seeing them growing naturally and they are so enormous in Fuerteventura growing everywhere.

Bit of a shock to the body leaving 25 C and arriving in Scotland at 1.30 am to 7C - it always amuses me seeing people getting off the plane still in shorts and tee shirts !
