Common Darter
It's been a lovely September day, the sort of day which makes September my favourite month. We've had lunch with Jo and Ric today, also eldest granddaughter Faye who we haven't seen for a couple of months. Faye and her young man are both in the army so they don't get home as often as they'd like and at the moment Tom is deployed abroad but is expected home next month. We're also looking forward to December when Faye's sister Lucie and her young man will be home from NZ for six weeks. It's a far cry from the way things used to be, I'm not sure if it's progress or not.
Thank you for the response to my journal, it's very much appreciated.
