Under lily pads

Almost without fail this young heron can be found stalking fish around where the lily pads are in blueberry pond.....He/she seems quite tiny compared to others I've seen here so I'm assuming its just a young one.  
    We are almost ready  for our early Monday departure to NYC and on to Rome tuesday night....looks like raining there too so I threw in a small umbrella and two ponchos...already have some rain/wind jackets but I really don't care to carry an umbrella...rather just wear a rain hat:)   I'm looking forward to trying some lemoncello and some gelato yum yum.  
    R's mother has had some bp problems causing hospitilzation and other concerns...she is home now and hopefully stable but we have paid extra so we can make international calls and keep in close contact with R's sister....while we look forward to our journey our hearts are always close at home with loved ones
