Kite surfers on Gott Bay, Tiree

A dull day for the Tiree 35 mile ultra which two of our number were attempting today (but not yours truely). Drove about a bit to various places along the route of the race to support our  runners. Had a walk along the beach at Gott just before lunch, a beautiful long strand of white sand. Lots of sanderlings with little clockwork legs running a round in the shallows and a bunch of kite surfers enjoying the waves in a stiff breeze.
