Last light of 2012

One year ago, I was watching the sunset over water, the orange-yellow glare of the sun streaming through white-bright clouds slanting to the north. Somehow, I managed it again.

2012 was probably my biggest year ever...Hawaii, Green Fire Farm, Sunrise High Sierra Camp, New Zealand, and all the moments in between....

Trying to comprehend all that I've learned about myself and other people and other forms of life this year, I'm overwhelmed by what I've gained and what I've achieved. The year preceding this one was just about my darkest; 2012 was my promise to myself to heal and grow, and did I ever. I've never felt so reflective about the ending of the year, and the beginning of the next one. Here's to it....
