Locally grown

A memento of our outing to the sea yesterday: locally grown flowers from a stall in the gallery of the Observatory. The flowers grown in Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire have been augmented by dahlias from the garden. The  one surviving dahlia is thriving on neglect but I can only see it when I go into the garden so I think cutting these three blooms is allowable.

As well as flower arranging, tidying and ironing, I have prepped lessons, marked books and generally got my head around week two. Bailey has mainly slept off his exertions from yesterday, which thankfully meant that he didn't require a trip out to the garden in the early hours of the morning.
