Lots butterflies today...

...Painted Ladies, Red Admirals, Tortoiseshells, and many more.

There were 4 or 5 on one Buddliea flower, but flew away as I tried to push past the apple tree.

Finally, the apple tree got an early pruning...and I took too many photographs...

It was impossible to chose one or two...

This Painted Lady got landed on by a large tortoiseshell, which photobombed my following photo, but it wasn't a clear shot to use as it was touching the iPad lens with its wing...

In the extra is a Red Admiral. There were a lot of very vibrant coloured Red Admirals today.
