London Day 2
After a leisurely morning, which included coffee at Cafe Nero, Paddington, we walked to the nearby canal at Paddington Basin. We had arranged to meet Emma for lunch at Beany Green, a bustling restaurant on the canalside serving Aussie Brunch. In not sure what the difference is between that and English Brunch but the sweetcorn fritters and poached eggs were very nice.
After lunch we took a walk into Hyde Park and headed for the Serpentine Gallery when the current exhibition was about to end. Tapestries by Faith Ringgold.
The summer pavilion exhibition was a slate build structure by Junya Ishigami.
From there we wandered over to the other Serpentine Gallery, Sackler, where there is an exhibition by Luchita Hurtado.
Emma said goodbye there, until we see her again in a couple of days.
From there we went back to the flat for a spot of tea, a bit of tennis and an evening walk in the park
