What a busy weekend. Today, we were up and out early to go up and see our friends with a farm. The eldest was doing some weird cough in the car as we drove up, and then, in the village where the farm is was sick in the car. He did the last half mile strapped into the front seat, rather than getting back into his childseat with sick on it. One of the best things about visiting a farmer is they will always have a bucket and some marvelous cleaning remedy to mop things up - and be totally unphased by us turning up in a rather unpresentable manner. The eldest did spend the rest of the day in a borrowed pair of jeans with flowers embroidered on them. The both had a ride on 'Sparky' and then went off to play on the tractors. They just love it all.
Headed off for lunch with an old work colleague who has a 'weekend' house near us, we only discovered this recently when we happened to bump into each other in London and he said he lived in the middle of no-where and no-one had ever heard of the village. Turns out it the neighboring village to the one I grew up in. Small world.
Plenty of tv this afternoon as the boys were basically shattered after a pretty full-on weekend. But they had a spurt of energy this afternoon and asked to go out on their bikes - the eldest is also in the picture, but as a tiny dot as he'd zoomed off.
