The Famous Stairs

Ok...a trivia question for you movie buffs. 

In what movie was this beautiful staircase used. (Answer at the end.)

As for our train adventure. We boarded at 7:30 this morning in Flint, Michigan. It is now almost 11 p.m., and we just left St. Paul, Minnesota. We are in coach class, and now we are going to see if we can sleep in a recliner. Wish us luck. We have another 27 hours on the rails.

To the movie. It was The Untouchables. Elliot Ness (Kevin Costner) was on the landing, Andy Garcia was on the floor, and the bad guys were coming down the far side. Elliot was preoccupied with a baby in a carriage that was plummeting down the stairs, and Andy had to take the shot. Bad guy out of the picture.
