Party bags

Invited out for New Year's lunch, and after the games we had a 'party-bag', (one of these and a paper hat.) Memories came flooding back, of squashed sponge cake and napkins, plastic forks and resilient jelly, wooden floors with splinters and wind-up submarines.

It's strange the effects that New Year can have on an unsuspecting diner.
