Good-Bye Mr. Minzler

This is the funeral home I visited today to pay my final respects to a guy I have known for more than 30 years. Don was one of those happy-go-lucky types whose luck did not always go happily. Still, he always had a smile and an ornery sparkle to his eye that made it hard to be angry with him. He could always bring me around when I was feeling down.
We played golf together a lot and, although neither of us was very good at the game, we always had a good time. I will miss him but I'm glad for him that his troubles are over now.
