Hunters Bar

before heading back home we went to look at the house where I lived as a student 40 years back and had a wander around Hunters Bar. The house from outside looks much the same, even the little back garden , which I managed to peer into, doesn't seem to have changed. I think I found our old chippy, but not the Chinese which seems to have gone. We were aiming to wander in the Botanical gardens , which I walked through on most days on my way to the medical school, but after 40 years I'd chosen to visit on the day it was closed!  So instead of a photo from the gardens here is one from a nearby street !
