MONO MONDAY - REFLECTIONS

I needed to into the Bank this morning, but was quite glad to get out of the house, as we are having work done in our kitchen and there was a lot of banging and drilling.  However, once I was in the town centre, it started raining quite heavily, so I wasn’t sure how I would get a shot in line with the challenge today - reflections.

Then I walked past a barber’s shop and happened to look back - and there was my shot - a young man having his hair cut by a young lady - and it was taken looking through the mirror - hence reflections.

Just got back home and the kitchen fitters are doing well - thankfully, we have our new car port so they don’t have to do any cutting out in the rain!

Mr. HCB has said he will take me out for a meal this evening, so we are going to go at about 4 p.m. when the fitters have gone and then I can pop over to see Mum this evening.

Thank you to everyone who left a kind comment and also stars and hearts for my shot of Mum’s hands yesterday - I don’t usually look at the Popular page, but see that yesterday's Blip is now on page 2 - must run a copy off to show her later.

“REFLECTIONS FROM A MIRROR
Beautiful is he who recognises what is truly beautiful,
Even if the surface is ugly.
Truthful is he who says what is true,
Even if the truth is ugly.
Ugly is he who measures beauty by its exterior,
     Without first weighing the interior.
And ugly is the man who judges harshly what he sees looking out,
Without first judging what he sees in the mirror.”
